
Ms. Nabila Shiraz
Lead Montessori Educator | Director
Ms. Nabila holds a Bachelor’s degree from Karachi University, where she studied English Literature, History, and Islamic Studies. She earned top position at Al-Huda International in Quranic Studies, Hadith, and Tajweed. She has completed multiple Montessori certifications, including Early Childhood Montessori Training (ages 3–6) from Brookhaven College and an International Montessori Diploma in Lower Elementary Education from the North American Montessori Center (NAMC).
With over 25 years of teaching experience, Ms. Nabila has been the heart of Read Institute of Texas—serving as both our Lead Educator and Director since the school’s founding. Her unwavering commitment to nurturing both academic excellence and Islamic values has shaped generations of students and inspired a thriving educational community.

Ms. Raabia (Afnan)
Upper Elementary Montessori Specialist
Ms. Afnan earned her Bachelor’s in Economics from the University of Texas at Dallas and pursued Islamic Studies at Al-Huda International. She holds Montessori certifications for both Early Childhood (ages 3–6) from Collin College and Upper Elementary from NAMC (North American Montessori Center). With over 15 years of experience in Quranic instruction and Montessori education, she brings a wealth of knowledge, dedication, and mentorship to her students.

Ms. Amina
Montessori Educator | Certified Childcare Specialistger
Ms. Amina holds a Bachelor’s degree in Science from the University of Karachi and has completed specialized training in Montessori education from Collin College. She also holds a Diploma in Lower Elementary Teaching from the North American Montessori Center (NAMC) and has acquired additional certifications in childcare for Montessori classrooms. With over 6 years of experience teaching in Montessori settings, Ms. Amina brings a nurturing, structured, and individualized approach to education—grounded in both academic excellence and child-centered care.

Ms. Jahan Zeb
Early Childhood Educator | Montessori Specialist
Ms. Jahan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education and is certified in Montessori Teacher Training from Collin College. She also earned a certification in Early Childhood Development from Richland College, further enriching her expertise in age-appropriate learning practices. With over 15 years of experience in Montessori environments, Ms. Jahan brings deep insight, patience, and a child-centered approach to the classroom—helping young learners grow in both confidence and capability.

Ms. Sara
Montessori Educator in Training | Quranic Studies Certified
Ms. Sara holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Karachi University and is currently pursuing her Montessori teacher training certification. With over 10 years of teaching experience, she brings both structure and compassion into the classroom. She is also certified in Quranic Studies and is passionate about guiding young learners in both their academic and spiritual journeys.

Ms. Sobia
Montessori Educator | Pre-School
Ms. Sobia holds a Master’s degree in Islamic Studies and Economics from the University of Karachi. She is currently pursuing her Montessori Teacher Training Certification to further strengthen her knowledge of Montessori education and classroom practices. With 7 years of teaching experience, Ms. Sobia brings a strong foundation in both academics and Islamic education to her classroom.

Ms. Asfia
Upper Elementary Teacher
Ms. Asfia Khan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University of Houston in Houston, Texas. She brings her educational background and organizational skills into the Upper Elementary classroom, supporting students as they develop greater independence, responsibility, and confidence in their learning.

Ms. Fakhra
Lower Elementary Teacher
Ms. Fakhra Shahid holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education and English Literature, completed in 1994. She previously completed her FSc in Pre-Medical in 1992 after studying at Pakistan Embassy School in Jeddah under the Federal Board. Her diverse academic background in education, literature, and science supports her work with students in the Lower Elementary classroom.

Ms. Nida
Toddler Teacher
Ms. Nida Nazim is a graduate of the University of Karachi in Karachi, Pakistan, where she completed her Bachelor of Arts between 2019 and 2021. As a Toddler Teacher at RIT, she works with our youngest students in a nurturing classroom environment that encourages early independence, exploration, and development.

Ms. Asma
Toddler Teacher
Ms. Asma Qadeer holds a Master’s degree in Natural Science, earned in 2000, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Education, completed in 2005. She further strengthened her early childhood education background by earning her Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential in 2018. Her training in education and child development supports a nurturing and developmentally appropriate environment for RIT’s youngest learners.

Ms. Mariam
Math Instructor | STEM Educator
Ms. Mariam has a Bachelors of Science in Mathematical Sciences and an Masters of Science in Applied Mathematics from the University of Texas at Dallas. She has 10 years of experience teaching Quran and has served as a math professor at Collin College for the past decade. Her academic background also includes two years of teaching physics at the medical school level, making her a well-rounded STEM educator with a passion for both faith and logic.
